MDCLT is proud to announce our Affordable Housing Tour in collaboration with HousingNowTO! Join us in exploring the diversity of affordable housing — new and old — and other community-building spaces in one of Toronto’s most exciting and action-oriented neighbourhoods: Mount Dennis. The walk ends at Mount Dennis’s annual community event, Chalk my Walk, which runs from 2PM - 5PM (and we would love it if you stuck around!).

About HousingNowTO: HousingNowTO is a volunteer-based Civic-Tech & Open-Data project working to track progress on new Affordable-Rental units in Toronto.
About the Mount Dennis Community Land Trust (MDCLT): the MDCLT is a newly founded and incorporated Community Land Trust formed in response to the community-driven and Toronto City Council funded and supported Mount Dennis For All Summit and subsequent Mount Dennis For All Action Plan. Our mandate is to address the challenges of rapid transit-oriented growth head-on and ensure affordable, equitable, and sustainable housing opportunities for Mount Dennis.
About Chalk My Walk: everyone is invited to the Mount Dennis BIA’s 5th annual FREE event, Chalk My Walk, on Saturday, June 6 from 2 to 5 p.m. Every year the BIA closes Hollis Street at Eglinton and Weston for a fun-filled afternoon featuring live entertainment, bicycle giveaways, chalk art, and community information tables.
